Instacart and Klaviyo File for Major IPOs- Instacart and Klaviyo filed for IPOs on the same day, lining up major public debuts. Instacart hit a $39 billion valuation in 2021, while Klaviyo reached $9.5 billion. Both revealed financials, with Instacart generating $1.5 billion in early 2023 revenue compared to Klaviyo's $321 million.

Vuori Store Openings Keep comin’ - Athleisure brand Vuori is still steadily opening new stores, aiming for ~100 by 2026 into new markets like Austin, Boston and London. Vuori says own stores drive branding and sales. Footsie wear competitor Allbirds slowed openings, but Vuori's still optimistic. Peep the details here. Activewear shops proliferating! 🏋️

The Body Shop For Sale? - The Body Shop's parent company Natura & Co has brought in advisers to explore selling the brand. This comes amid struggles with costs and supply chain woes. A sale could help Natura focus on Avon. Get the tea here. 💄

Curie Deodorant Lands Walmart - DTC deodorant brand Curie made its way into over 3,800 Walmart stores, marking a major retail expansion. Curie's aluminum and baking soda-free deodorants will now sit on Walmart shelves. Find out more details here. 🙋‍♀️

FedEx Shipping Rate Hike - FedEx has announced it's bumping up Express, Ground and Freight shipping rates by an average of 5.9% starting January 2024. This comes after increases this year too. FedEx says it reflects demand and operating costs. Check out deets here. Extra fees, woo! 💸

Yeezy Breakup Burns Adidas - Adidas is feeling the hurt after splitting with Ye. Adidas sales have lagged while Nike keeps growing, up less than $5B since 2013. But ending controversial Ye partnership cost Adidas big time. Now Adidas stuck with $1B+ in unsold Yeezy inventory. New CEO Gulden calls 2023 a transition year as Adidas tries to rebuild post-Yeezy.
